Alright...I've been informed that the saxophone is NOT a brass instrument--despite its material of fabrication. Consider me superficial or uninformed for including it in this composition--I'm sure that both qualities/failings are contributory! The shape of the sax informed much of the shape of this work...I think the results produce a less than brash "sound."
