When I want to incorporate a detailed image into my work, I must employ "collage" to achieve what is impossible to depict with sprayed pigment. I ink-jet print on tissue paper, the only material that allows me to adhere with polyurethane to the back of the plastic--anything less porous traps the solvent between a layer of dried urethane and the plastic "canvas" that is the foundation of my work. The human body has been the main focus of this technique, so far.
