My dear friend, Susan Crawford,
has this beautiful black cat with two, different colored eyes! When I
met them, Susan and Sylvia, I was so taken with Sylvia's eyes that I
just had to try to paint her. What resulted was my first, truly
representational painting. Of course, I got the eyes backward!
