This is my "first" 3-dimensional work in my "obverse" technique. One of the key factors in the discovery of my technique was the desire to create "dimensional" objects with the luminous color of art-glass--without all the heat! That is why I first decided to try the specialty material I paint on, PETG, which is easily formed with low heat. I've taken advantage of this feature in annealing my finished paintings, to give them their final, textural fingerprint, but I have seldom explored the full possibilities of the third dimension--I've been busy in two-dimensions!
With this piece, I am peeking into the territory beyond!
